Java is the island where almost every trip to Indonesia will start. An island that is already well known among tourists and slowly growing, but still an island with so much beautiful nature and culture to discover. It is also the island where our home is based. 

Because there is already a lot of information available about Java, and it is quite easy to travel here as a tourist, we will not create Travel Guides like the ones we make for Sulawesi. Instead, we want to share all our favorite places and hidden spots we have discovered while living here, the kind of places you might not easily find on your own.

We start with Yogyakarta. A city already famous for its temples and Merapi volcano, but one that has so much more to offer than that. It is a city full of good food, art, nature and authentic Javanese culture. A city where most people keep coming back to.
